It's that time again...
Time to make your plans to attend ECSI's 2010 User's Conference. This year promises to be
another great year! We have prepared a list of presentations and sessions that will satisfy the
most voracious appetite for knowledge. We will cover everything you need to know about SAL
and our Internet technologies. The dress code will be casual for this year's conference
so please dress comfortably.
Welcome!
If you've never joined our User's Conference before, you don't know what you're missing. We
strive to provide a wealth of good information during our three-day conference. Use some of the
time to discuss relevant issues with your peers. Share your ideas with each other and ECSI's staff.
Meet with the members of ECSI's executive, technical, sales and support staffs. Bring your
questions and we'll do our best to send you home with the answers you need.
Who should attend?
Whether your an ECSI Rookie, Veteran, or a Prospective Client, you don't want to miss
this year's ECSI User's Conference.
How is the time organized?
We have a mix of topics spread across the three days which should engage and educate. In
many of the sessions we provide an opportunity for clients to participate, share their
experiences, ask questions and otherwise discuss the topics. The last part of Wednesday's session
provides an open forum for clients to discuss changes and enhancements to our software and
services in a group environment.
There will be time for our clients to discuss their issues during our open forums. Send
us your list of questions or topics before the conference and we will come prepared to address them.
Entertainment
Of course, we can't work all day. Each day there will be a continental breakfast to
help start your day. Lunch is also provided at one of the Sheraton's fine eateries.
To keep your energy high, there are some mid-afternoon refreshments to keep you going.
The Pirates, Pittsburgh's MLB team, will have home games at PNC Park on
Saturday, June 5th and Sunday, June 6th. To view the Pirates' schedule and/or purchase tickets to the games, visit the
Pirates' website.
Again, it is a casual dress code for the conference.
Travel
The Station Square complex is compact so a rental car is not a necessity. Downtown
Pittsburgh and Mount Washington are both within walking distance. The Sheraton offers free
weekday transportation to the city. Public transportation is also available near the hotel.
Shuttles are available to and from the Pittsburgh International Airport (Phone 412-472-3180 or 412-444-4444).
One way trips are approximately $19.00, round trips are $34.00. To get from the Airport to the Sheraton, the hours
of the shuttle are Sun-Fri 7am to 11pm and Sat 7am to 9pm. Passengers should meet the shuttle at the
Airport Express Shuttle on the lower level. From the Sheraton to the Airport, the hours of the shuttle are
5:20am to 6:20pm, and the shuttle leaves hourly at 20 minutes after the hour. Passengers should meet the shuttle
at the front of the hotel at 15 minutes after the hour. Reservations are not needed for the Airport Express Shuttle.
Cabs are also available between the airport and the Sheraton and cost approximately $40 each way.
